Kirk Builders operates Estimator Pro, a business application used to manage customers, estimates, and related construction business information. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when Estimator Pro is connected to QuickBooks Online.
Information We Access
When you authorize Estimator Pro to connect to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks may provide access to accounting information associated with your QuickBooks company.
The current Estimator Pro integration is designed to use only the information necessary to work with:
• QuickBooks Customers, for synchronizing client information
• QuickBooks Estimates, for creating and synchronizing estimates
Estimator Pro does not currently use the QuickBooks connection to access or manage banking transactions, payroll, payments, expenses, or other financial-account information.
How We Use Information
Information obtained through QuickBooks is used only to provide the requested Estimator Pro functionality, including:
• Synchronizing customer and client records
• Creating or updating estimates
• Matching Estimator Pro customers and estimates with their corresponding QuickBooks records
• Maintaining the connection between Estimator Pro and the authorized QuickBooks company
QuickBooks Authorization Information
Estimator Pro may retain authorization information necessary to maintain the connection to QuickBooks Online. This information is used only for authenticating requests to QuickBooks and providing the authorized integration.
Sharing of Information
Kirk Builders does not sell, rent, or trade information obtained through the QuickBooks integration.
Information is not shared with third parties except when necessary to operate the authorized service, comply with applicable law, protect legal rights, or as directed by the user.
QuickBooks data is also subject to Intuit’s own privacy and security practices.
Data Retention and Deletion
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary to provide Estimator Pro functionality and maintain business records.
A user may disconnect Estimator Pro from QuickBooks Online at any time. Users may also contact Kirk Builders to request deletion of information associated with the Estimator Pro QuickBooks integration, subject to any legal or legitimate business-record retention requirements.
Security
Kirk Builders uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.
Your Choices
You may revoke Estimator Pro’s access to your QuickBooks company through your Intuit account or by using the disconnect function provided by Estimator Pro.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
